<div itemprop="description">Turcotte, Terence A<br><br>June 26, 1936 – May 17, 2016<br><br><br><br>It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Terry Turcotte after a long battle with Dementia. Terry was predeceased by his parents Fred and Mary, sisters Lucille, Georgina, Lorraine and brothers Al and Ray.<br><br><br><br>Terry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley (Fanny), son Don (Jennifer) and daughter Cris. Grandchildren Taylor, Seth and Matthew will greatly miss their playful Grampa.<br><br><br><br>Terry, born in Victoria, played baseball and rugby. He had great tales of working in Ross Bay Cemetery in his youth. He apprenticed in auto mechanics then moved his young family to Edmonton to become an Electrical Journeyman. In 1970 he returned to Victoria and soon started Turcotte Electric and after 30 successful years retired at 65.<br><br><br><br>He played golf and enjoyed badminton, camping and watching his grandchildren play their sports. He loved renovating, building projects and maintaining his beautiful yard and Japanese Garden for all to enjoy.<br><br><br><br>A special thanks to Dr. Jollymore and the loving staff of The Heights at Mt. View Care Home. <br><br><br><br>Terry set a fine example of how a man should live and treat his fellow man. Terry’s cheerfulness, warmth and love will be sadly missed but not forgotten.<br><br><br><br>No service or flowers as requested.<br><br></div>
