Pat departed this world on February 25, 2017. Predeceased by sons John and Ross; she is survived by husband Iain of sixty-two years; nephew Mark; and nieces Priscilla and Dorothy, all of England. Pat worked for the British Admiralty in England, for Canadian Westinghouse, and taught mathematics for twenty-three years at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. She served as president of both the United Nations Association and the Altrusa Club of Hamilton. Pat travelled extensively with Iain and much enjoyed lawn bowling and bridge at VLBC. She will be fondly remembered by friends in Canada and friends and relatives in England.
Baha’i Friends may make donations in memory of Pat to the Baha’i International Fund, and others to a charity of their choice.
A service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel at 1803 Quadra St on Tuesday March 2nd at 11:00am followed by interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens.
